Cist on overy?

Has anyone ever had wls lapiscopic and had a cist? Will they di ti knowing there is a cist? My only daughter is 26 yrd old, never married, no children. She is looking into wls. I think she has decided to do it. We know she has a cist. She is calling her medical Dr today to get him to give her a medical clearance, I am very if if?? Ok has anyone had it done knowing you had a cist? She does not have insurance so her wls will be slef pay so I am pretty sure once she gets clearnace it won't take long to do the other tests and get a surgery date. I had wls surgery almost 4 yrs ago. It has changed my life. My daugther was afraid I was going to die on the operating table! Until recently she has been afraid of wls. Maybe also cause she knows it is a life changeong thing! Of course she has watched me all the way! I have never told her this is something she must do but now I think she realizes she may die from obesity if she doesn't do something! Besides obesity and the cist she has no other health issues. I currently have polycystic ovarian syndrome which means I have cysts all over my ovaries and they are allowing me to have the surgery even though I have this. They think the cysts may shrink or go away after surgery.

I had numerous cysts on my ovaries. I would have intermittent pain. I had surgery and it wasnt an issue. I ended up having a total hysterectomy about 6 months after my bypass. I had the hyst due to having the gene for ovarian/breast cancer. My pathology report on my ovaries was 3 pages long due to the detailed description of all the cysts and issues with my ovaries. The dr was amazed that I didnt complain of pain constantly. I wish her a very successful surgery!
