I have Optifast Chicken Soup, and Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry Powder. If anyone is interested. I had gastric bypass in India on September 16 and have lost 60 pounds as of today, so I no longer need this powder. If anyone has questions about my surgery just ask.

Congrats on your weightloss. I have not received my surgery date yet, but I would be interested in receiving the powder. How did you decide on going to India for your surgery? This is very interesting. Thanks, DeeDee

Good luck with your surgery DeeDee. I am at work right now, but I can let you know the quantities that I have and how much they will cost, I know this stuff is expensive, but I am not looking to make a profit off this stuff. I decided to go to India after months of research on overseas medical tourism. The cost is nearly 1/3 compared to the U.S. and my insurance didn't cover it for me here. I had no health issue related to my obesity, that is why I wanted to take care of this issue, before I had any issues. I will send another posting to you and give you all the information about the Optifast. Again, good luck, it won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

DeeDee, I have the information for you. I have 22 Vanilla, 3 Chocolate, 4 Strawberry and 23 Chicken Soup. The regular price for the drinks is 2.42 each but I can give them to you for 1.25 each and the soup regularly is 3.48 each, for you 1.75 each. If you want it all it will be 76.50, that is a savings of 73.72. I did notice you have Dr. Cahill, he is at Little Company of Mary?? If so, that is same office that my primary physician is located, and I can meet you there if you would like any of this Optifast. I also have a recipe book for the drinks, the vanilla mixes well with diet soda and ice, makes a thick slushy, really good. Again good luck with your surgery, it will be well worth it. Tina

Tina, I'm so sorry but, I didn't realize you had responded. I was just going thru my email and saw that you had posted a reply to the message board. I am still trying to keep up with where I've been on the boards, if you know what I mean. Anyway, since I am pre-op, I'm not sure at what stage I'd need the Optifast. Is this for the period right after surgery? Most of all, though, do you still have the Optifast? Thanks, DeeDee

Hi DeeDee, I still have the Optifast. I had to be on a liquid diet for at least 7 days before surgery and 7 - 10 days after surgery, then went to pureed foods. If you still want it we can meet and I can give you some recipies which help it to taste better. Good luck with your surgery, it will be well worth it!! Tina

I still have it, as you see in my posting what I paid for it and what I want to get rid of it for. If you still want to purchase it from me, just let me know and we can meet somewhere.
