Getting anxious

Hi all, new to all of you. I will be having my surgery feb 5th & would like to hear from you how much weight you lost in 1st month after surgery, any problems, or any news at all you would like to share

I had laproscopic gastric bypass in India on September 16, and as of today 1/8/07 I have lost 60 lbs. If you have any questions, just ask.

Hi there, congrats on the upcoming surgery. I had open on June 6, 2006. To be honest, the first few months, I only saw minimal weight loss (starting weight 260lbs) - but after the first few months, it just sorta "went".. don't know how else to explain it. I went from a size 20-22 to a 18 in the first three months to a 14 in about the 4th month then totally skipped 12 and went to a 10 and now a year later I am in size 5. It is unbelieveable how it just "comes" off! You'll do fine, just remember to take your vitamins :)
