KAryn,
I don't think I had a chance to reply to your message. THanks for the wealth of info above. And I'm hoping that my husband will attend the meetings with me. Thank God that he seemed a little more on board after he heard about the education and the fact that you have to see a Dietician prior to teach and educate you and to also see if you can do this by yourself.
I'm waiting on medical records to be sent to my surgeons office. Then I'll have the consult and go from there. I know its a journey, but I thank God even for the opportunity.
Thanks Again,
Prosperity to you.
Pam
Hello
Using weight loss surgery as a tool is the only way to go. It is very important to have a support group behind you, including family friends, your small group church group, and most of all thos who have gone thru the same thing. My faith in God was really put to the test. My greatest gift from God rather than my own peace with Him is that thru all this my son and husband of 30+ years finally came to know the Lord. Praise God. I am now 250 lbs lighter and they have trouble keeping up with me. Was it worth it, yes, and again I say yes. Also find a good support group in your community of people who have gone thru all of the trials and listen to their stories. Take husband along to some of these meetings, there are many spouses there and are more than willing to share their ups and downs.
God will give you the peace to know how to go. I will be praying with you.

Bless You Marie,
Thank you for your reply. I am placing myself around those that are supporting me in this process. I am also praying that my husband continues to see what a change this will make for not only me, but ur family as a whole. I am going to suggest that he comes to meetings with me. I thank you for your advisce and prayers.
And with your 250 lb weight loss, I'm certain you feel brand new.
May God continue to bless and keep you always.
In His Service,
Pam
