Dr Oliphant

I am waiting on a consultation appointment with Dr Uretz J. Oliphant. Through carle in champaign. If anyone has seen him please give me some inside info.

I love Dr. O. He is the best. And Ann his nurse is really nice too. Just be yourself and you will be fine. He is a serious man with an usually manner. He is funny but in an strange sense. In his actions and reactions. He is serious in making sure that this is what you want and the seriousness of it all. You will have to take a psych exam and see a dietrician as well. Thank you two for replying to my post. Any info on this Dr is greatly appreciated. I have started my list of questinos for him. I quit smoking about 4 months ago. and so far i am doing good with that. Thanks again

I haven't seen him - but there are quite a few people in my support group in Bloomington that have him as their dr and i've heard nothing but wonderful things about him

I went to dr. O and had surgery with him in April '05... he is absolutely wonderful. He expects you to follow the rules to a T and is very strict with that. But I am sooooo glad that I had surgery with him. He has saved my life. I still have a longgg way to go, but I"m down 140 lbs and am sooo much healthier and love life so much more than what I did 18+ months ago. You cant go wrong with him. And yes, his nurse Ann is also wonderful! The whole office over there is great as a matter of fact! ~ Lora
