Dose anyone know its a IPDA ?

OK im 14 months out and im looking into plastic surgery.I have been at a stable weight for three months now and im on IDPA do you know what are the requirments for getting them to pay for the surgery? I know 1= is a hernia, any others? I talked to the Dr.Panos at Carla Clinic they were not much help..

Hi Chandra I think you're fighting a losing battle unless you can prove medical necessity for the PS public aid will not cover it. You need to find a sympathetic doctor that will help you to prove the medical need rather than the cosmetic need for the surgery. Good luck! Ronna

I just talked to PS docs, and it has to be a medical neccessity, and even then it is hard to get them to pay for it. They suggested to take pics, and document every rash, even starting out a newbie from surgery.

I have IPDA and I was told that since I have rashes and yeast infection under my stomach that they will cover plastic surgery. I go to U of C. Good luck! Nikki
