Did everyone see Oprah today- Baratric patients turn to other addictions

I was just wondering how many of you saw Oprah today with Carney Wilson, along with other guests who had all had RNY, and had all turned to other addictions such as alchohol, shopping, gambling, etc. I was wondering if anyone out there that has already had the surgery is willing to be open if they have had simular experiences. Hi Nancy - I missed Oprah by I've heard a lot about it through the boards yesterday and today. I'm just 7wks post op. I guess you could say I've traded my food addiction for OH. LOL. That's my only addiction right now. I stay on computer probation w/ my dh constantly. Good Luck w/ your journey. Christina
