Newbie here

Hi I'm new here and I am just starting to look for info on surgeons. I live near Granite City IL and would also go to St Louis. Any suggestions?

Welcome as well ... I'm sure a few of the other folks closer to you can help, but you can also research info on surgeons here ... in the section on the left there is a link to "Bariatric Surgeons". I haven't been to that part of this site for a while, but I believe you can look for a surgeon in your area. Good luck! Karyn

Any information you have would be wonderful. I'm very nervous, but my best friend had this surgery in Minnesota on St. Patricks day and has lost over 100lbs already. I'm so proud of her and very envious. I have to try.

Welcome to the boards. Let me first ask what insurance do you carry? That will play a big part in finding a surgeon, wether or not you can go into Missouri or have to stay in Illinois for surgery. I know of several surgeons, so get back with me and I can try to help you out. Shelley 313/177/140
