pre-op clear liquids

Hello Everyone, I am scheduled for Lap-Band surgery September 26, 2006. I am excited and nervous. Happy and teary eyed all at the same time. What a mess. Will anyone share with me the variety of clear liquids they ate prior to surgery?

Hey Stacy ... was great to meet you on Monday! First (and again) ... congrats on the surgery ... remember "every little thing ... gonna be all right" ... I can't help you too much, because I didn't have to do the clear liquids prior to surgery, I was just told not to eat after 6pm the day before (and just eat "light"). Clear liquids are just that "clear". Decaf tea and coffee, jello, broths, Crystal Light, flavored waters. That is just about it. You really should get a clarification from your surgeon's office regarding your list of accepted liquids. Some doctors include protein drinks and milk products.
