Guilty for wanting the forbidden
I have been craving the forbidden carb for a while now. My doc only allows me 9 carbs per day which is my small veggie at dinner with my main protein. I just want 1 fry or a dinner roll, but I have been so commited to this diet that I don't dare cheat. How to I satisfy this craving without cheating? And the worse part is I am not allowed carbs in numbers untill I am at 75% of my weight loss which is another 45 pounds. Not too long but the more I lose the slower it comes off now. This could take a while. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Debra,
Don't continue to beat yourself up for craving a past favorite food. When I have a thought about wanting an unforbidden food I ask myself..... Do I want what comes with eating that particular food ( the added weight and the way that food makes me feel). I know I have much more energy now than I used to when eating the wrong food so I use that as motivation. I always try to turn a negative to a positive. Don't know if this will help you but I know it helps me. Good luck.
