RE-POST: University of Chicago - Housecall?

Hi All (not sure if I'm posting this correctly): My sisters doc has provided her with a referral for surgery! This is a great first step...She was given a website to register at UofC - they are asking for $125 to subscribe to something called Housecall, which is said to be an aftercare program to assist patients after surgery. Has anyone ever heard of this? Should she pay & subscribe? Thanks in advance!

I had to pay it also. They say you don't get charged till after you have surgery....but I did and pretty much everyone I met at the meeting at u of c. They refund you the money but for me it over drew me and i had to get the fees charged backed. Tell her she has to do it or you can't go to u of c and then it is a 4-6 month wait to get an appointment to see if they will accept you into the program. They do have awesome bullentin boards and a food journal and things you can start using them too.
