Newbie searching for lapband recommendations

Hi. I am new to this board and want to have the lapband surgery. The Wish Center was one of my considerations but just read it closed. Does anybody have a dr to recommend in the Chicago burbs? I am self pay so money is a big consideration for me. Any recommendations, advice, pricing info, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to being a member of this community. Thanks.

I know that my surgeon does LapBand as well as RNY. Dr. Guske is great! He has offices in both Elk Grove Village and Arlington Heights. You can read reviews about him on this site. Best of luck, Ronna

Suburban Surgical Care Specialists is a great place to look into They are nationaly acredited as being one of the best in the nation. I am going to have myt surgery done by Dr. Guske in 2 months. Check them out.
