Hi Kate!! Have not seen you around for awhile. Just wanted to let you know that after a year of fighting with BCBS - I gave up and was pursuring the lap band (we talked about it around January??) Then I got a new job, with new insurance and had my RNY with Dr. Hammer about 6 weeks ago. I am doing GREAT and can not believe the energy I have now. I am so glad to hear you are doing so well also! We should get together some time and finally meet in person. You gave me some real encouragament when I was going through my insurance fight! (even though you probably dont remember!!) Take care.

HI. when was your surgery? how are you doing? any advice?

I'm doing good so far......I had my surgery on 6/6/06 (kind of ironic huh). The only advice that I have right now is to do everything your surgeon says by the book.
