Hello I'm new to the quadcities I live in Carbon Cliff looking to meet some new friends on here I had the gastric bypass back in 2003 i have lost over 170 pounds doing good just wanted to say hi to everyone in illinois Laurie

Laurie, welcome to the board. My husband and I love the Quad Cities. Actually, we were there during the Bix in July. I did not participate bu****ched it with great interest while we were there. I recently started running and I am interested in anything that has to do with running. My DH and I both had our RNY's in '03 also. He lost 180+ and I have lost 113. There is a lot to see and do in your area from boat rides on the Mississippi to bike trails on either side of the banks. LeClaire is a cute little town and has several good restaurants. Steventon's, Faithful Pilot and Sneaky Pete's to name a few. Take care, Chris
