Southern Ill. Support group?

Is there a support group around Mt. Vernon,Il.? I have to attend another(mandatory) before my surgery. Thanks for any replys

Hi d kay!! I dont know of any around mt vernon but we have one in murphysboro on the second Thursday of each month which would be September 14 6-9 in the cafetria at st joes hospital. Hello! Thanks for answering my post. I'm gonna try and make your meeting. I'm going to have surgery at Barnes, by Dr. Eagon. I've attended one support meeting there, but since I'm over 100 miles away they said I could attend one closer to me. dkay hoping to have surgery this year!

Hi D. Kay, I live in Southern Illinois. I live in Mascoutah IL (the exit before Mt. Vernon when driving east on 64). I am 28 with three little boys...wait, make that four including daddy. I am waiting on my doctor/nurse/dietician. Unfortunately, I have not received "that" phone call but I am really excited. When is your surgery? Just wondering.
