New to U:
I'm not sure but I think the COMP clinic in Springfield IL takes Medicare ... you may want to call them and find out.

I wish I could I hate to be a berrer of bad news with no silver linning... I read on here a while ago about the center of excellence thing. I then asked my dr at comp and she said that medicare and medicaid do not have the same guidlines because when you get into your 60s you need a center that can specilize in helping older people... something to that fact. She said she dosen't think medicaid will follow suit because they used data on older people to come to that decision. I wish you the best you might be able to look on medacare website maybe ?? sorry about my spelling!!!!
I was bummed because I didn't have the answers sooo I found them for you. Good luck.

I talked to New Start yesterday and they too have applied for hospital of excillence status but it takes three to four months to be established. The lady I talked to told me to Go ahead and attend the seminar on the 15th research research and research until they were approved. I was put on alist of medicare insured who would be contacted once it was avaliable. She advised me not to get a letter of neccisity until I heard as these are only good for six months.
