need advice on financing

i have been thinking about receiving gastic bypass surgery for the past few years. i have done my research and decided last year to schedule a consultation. i found out that my insurance company did not cover this procedure. in november i switched insurance companies. i had my consultation in may-and was overjoyed at the thought that i would get my life back-and not continue to sit on the sidelines. my dreams were shattered monday-i was informed that my new insurance company did not cover this procedure. i am financially challenged-work for the airlines for 17 1/2 years-however i rent my home and dont have the funds to pay for this out of pocket. i have contacted a few finance companies-only to be turned down since i dont own my own home. please if anyone has any advice on how i can receive financing for this procedure i would greatly appreciate it. i am becoming disenchanted-and i dont want to be that way either. i have just been fighting for so long. its good to know that im not alone. thankyou debbie :)
