LOOKING FOR A SURGEON THAT ACCEPT PUBLIC AID!!!!

Is been really hard to find a doctor that will accept pa and do the bypass,if anyone could help me I will apreciate...

Check with Dr. Fred Tiesinga in Oak Park. He and his staff are wonderful. 708-366-5070 I did hear that he may quit taking patients that have PA due to the fact that Illinois is not paying the drs. Shelley

Dr. Haggerty at Highland Park hospital takes public aide. He is my surgeon and the only problems that I am having is that it is a 2hr drive for me to get there which wouldn't be bad but i HATE driving on 294. Things are moving quickly through his office. One of your insurace requirements is going to be a psych eval which medicaid doesn't cover. Dr. Haggerty had given me a list of names for that cost ranged from 250-600. One lady on the list named wendie dalberg is doing mine for $75 you can't beat that!!!!!! good luck to you and i hope this helps!!! Casey

Medicaid paid for mine.....I went to two here ..one in home town and other town over...first eval went very badly....second passed without a hitch....

Yes I found one, is with university of chicago, but you need to register online and a nurse will call you and ask alot of question, if you had try to loose weight more than 3 month your are eligible.... But when you register onlinw they are going to ask you for a credit card they will only charge $125 when they do your surgery, once you register she will call you if they dont call you keep calling them..... Hope this will help you..... Well with me since I dont have more than 3 month of weight lost they send to university of illinois to see a diet specialist for 3 month if thant dont work for me they will do the surgey.. I try some pills but for short time I didnt help for nothing.... Let me know if you register good luck !!!!
