Looking for a friend..

Hello my name is Jamilla. I have just started my journey to having WLS. Im going to see Dr. Cahill on June 6th for my first visit. Just seeing if there are anybody out there going through to same thing. Aslo i wanted to know if anybody worked for t-mobile or has United healthcare? They told me that its covered but you know how that is.

I wanted to say Hi Shannon. We don't live very far apart. I live in LaSalle. I wanted to wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery. Are you getting it done in Peoria? I imagine you are getting excited and nervous. Not long now to joing the losing side!

Hi Jamilla I am in the early stages like you. I have met with the surgeon, and have gotten the psych eval and cardio clearance out of the way. Im waiting for the pcp letter then it all gets submitted to my insurance and I wait for approval. Mine will probably take awhile to approve. Cigna doesn't like to approve things. :>)

Hi there! I too am having Lap- Band in Belvidere. I am going to Barix Clinic with Dr. Boe. From the time of the seminar to now it has not even been 2 months. I am already approved and have my surgery scheduled for July 25. It has been an exceptionally easy process. I wish you all the best and would love to hear from you! Take care, Ginny
