Going back in..

Just a quick update for those of you who may still remember me.. I'm 18mos out last Friday.. I've lost about 140# and I'm thrilled about it.. unfortunately, they opted not to take my gall bladder out during my RNY procedure.. which leads me to... Well, I got the call from my surgeon today. I've been having increasingly worse abdominal pain after eating for the past three or so weeks.. after being admitted from ER for a virtual CAR BATTERY of tests a couple of weeks ago, my surgeon has concluded that my gall bladder, and the marble sized stones therein, is the culprit -- and it must come out. So I'm going in on Tuesday for the outpatient procedure to have it removed and he'll take a look at my intestines as well to make sure there isn't some scar tissue that was missed on all the tests that might be causing the trouble. Keep me in your prayers. I'm not concerned about surgery but I hope for a quick recovery and that my pain is alleviated. Maybe it'll jump start my loss again? Thanks!! Stef

Big hugs and prayers going out to you for a quick recovery Stef!! I am sure things will go well, Gallbladder is usually a quick procedure that does WONDERS for the pain!! I remember it clearly. Stef, Prayers? You got it! In my experience, gallbladder removal was a piece of cake. When it was over, I felt MUCH, MUCH better. Hoping for the same for you. Best of luck! Chris
