I Started a new group

After an over a year of going to Cori Centers in Illinois, enduring a sleep study, respiratory study, 6 months supervised dieting, IVC filter placement, Cardiac stress/rest scan, heart catheterization, psychiatric exam and getting approved for surgery, Cori Center notifies me that they are closing there doors (which they did on April 28th). I was absolutely devastated!! After spending an incredible amount of wasted time and money, hope and faith....not to mention my dreams....they are all gone. So this is going to be my year. I decided to start my own Yahoo group for people like me. I'm not asking you to join, I am asking you to check it out and see what you think. Give me some feedback if you will. Wow, Iam shocked that they closed their doors. I originally went there, thats where I met Dr. Cahill, but he said I was high risk so I had to have my surgery (open gastric bypass) at Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park, Illinois. My surgery was May 1st and Ive lost 18lbs so far. I am having trouble with the protein drinks. How are you doing? Which surgery are you gonna have?

You might want to check out dr hammer in springfield if you have insurance or comp clinic in springfield if you don't. It will take at least a year but you can probally transfer all your records and start there. (I hope you got your records) I did cori and they told me after all the blood work and paperwork they said oh we are not accepting public aid anymore and I had to start over. Good luck to you

hey Barbara Sorry to hear that! I am pretty much in the same boat - insurance never did come through, so I am starting over. In the meantime I am going to weigh****cher meetings in Town and Country shopping center on Wednesday nights. Speaker is pretty good and motivating. It is from 5:15 till 5:45 if you want to join us!!
