Centegra Bariatric Center for New Hope

Hi all, I'm a newbie here considering lapband surgery. Has anyone used the Centegra Bariatric center in Woodstock? I was wondering how long the process took from the time you went to the information seminar to actually getting the surgery. What kind of time frame is average for them? Is it quicker if you are self-pay? Dr. Heydari took out my gallbladder and appendix for me (at different times!) and I really liked him, so I know he's a good surgeon. I'd love to hear anyone's experiences with the Centegra center though. Thanks, Tracey

Hi Tracey I had my R-N-Y with Dr. Heydari on July 26th, 2005 and have lost 121 pounds. His staff and himself are wonderful caring people. i started my process in March so i guess it took me right around 5 months to get my surgery done. I had it put off a month because I couldnt attend the nutrition classes in one of the months so I had to wait for the next month. Good luck with your journey and if you need anything email me. Tamara
