Topic: Oh no!!!!!!!!!!
I just found out today that my surgery is going to be delayed because of stupid insurance. Now it will be for sure after April. I was getting so psyched up about it and now have to wait. I don't know how I will make it! I'm ready to start my new life now!

Hi, I'm Donna My surgery was Dec. 14, so far I have lost about 33lbs.  I'm happy with the results so far but am in a slump at the moment!  HOWEVER, even though my weight loss has slowed a bit, I'm losing INCHES!!!  So, as I have just about 54 lbs. to my goal weight I feel that I'm on track.  I do not regret th surgery one bit, the adjustments to lifestyle have been a bit difficult both for me and my hubby but we are working on it.  So far my problem has been trying to get in all all the protein but I have discovered the liquid protein and that is a great help!  Eager to hear from more Idahoans, what do you think of all this snow????   Sure messes up my walking schedule!

Hi Amy - not losing yet since I'm pre-op. I am getting nervous too, but very excited. I'll be there a week before you. Today I have my appt with the nutritionist. Have you done that yet? Tara

Well Amy I'm 20 days out and have lost 40 pounds in under 18 days.  I'll never go back and my only regret is not having this earlier.  Just hollar if you start having trouble and we'll be here for ya!

Great!  I'm not going to try and buy clothes for a while.  I'll just pull the drawstring on the sweats for a while.  But you look great and keep it up!

Okay for all of you Idaho postops out there, can you let us know your total weight loss to date and your date of surgery? I am a nervous wreck with my surgery date coming up on 03/10/2008 and need to hear about other successes. Share if you like!

Okay all I know is I am taking a class at the hospital at 3 o'clock on March 5th. They didn't tell me exactly what that class was, if it was a support group or what. But if it is support group will you be there? I would love to meet you in person! Otherwise they have classes in Twin Falls that are much closer to me that I will be attending.

BTW, it would be awesome if you could come to the hospital while I'm in, I'd love the company. I can't guarantee you how good I'll look because I'm wimpy for pain, but they say you gotta walk, walk, walk. This is all getting so real and so exciting! I'll keep you posted on specifics when I get closer. Thanks so much for your support!
