Hi Tiff! My cousin is on Medicaid, and just found out the Dr. Oakley in Boise has done the DS for patients on Medicaid before, so she is going to jump through the hoops to try to get that done! (After seeing my success with the DS and knowing others who got RNY, she wants the DS sooooo bad she can't hardly stand it! And would only settle for RNY as a last resort. Hi my name is Tiff, I am from Pocatello Idaho. Im looking into getting the surgery but with medicaid it is really hard. I was raised in foster homes for most my life so getting my medical files are going to be an issue.. I just know I dont have much time left if anyone has any suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.

It's exciting I know.  Just wait until you can see and feel those hip bones!  It may sound weird but I love to lie down and feel them jut out, though my skin does puddle around a little.  The skin does drive me crazy but I can't afford fixing it and I don't have an overwhelming amount.  5 years out and I'm actually under my goal but still in the normal range.  Good luck and start wearing shirts that show those beautiful bones off!
