Hi Scott! Can you tell me if there is a support group meeting in this area that is open to "outside" members? I went Mexico for the VSG with Dr. Alvarez on Valentine's Day of last year. I have lost 150 pounds, but I am beginning to have issues and there really is no support for me here. Thanks, hope your evening goes well!

Where is everyone and how are you are doing? Where are you at in your journey now? I've been out-of-town for a week because my oldest uncle passed away but he's in a better place. I'm almost 5 months out now and doing well. Christeen has had her share of troubles but she's getting there. She's 3 weeks out and down 9 pounds and the doctor put her on soft foods Monday.

They are still holding support meetings at St. Als twice a month. They are held on a Mon and a Thurs - they just had a meeting on Thurs. I will try to find the days and post them for you. Rae Jean

Thanks everyone and I'll let her know your thoughts are with her. She is a little more awake today but she has a rough time with anaesthesia. She won't be coming home tomorrow but soon I hope.

I have been waiting for a two and a half months due to my insurance requirements. I am asking that everyone pray for me. I have been praying a lot myself. I hope that all will go well and I too will be in line for surgery. Thanks! Heather
