Topic: RE: Ok, now down 50 lbs but still feeling the same.
Hi Debra,
You do look great, being a week behind you I know how you feel about the self visual, but it does seem the places you want to loose the most are the last to see results!
I think sexy, flirty comes in the next 50. I have noticed more people do speak now, instead of ignoring me. I have been watching X-treme makeover on TV, and there was a couple last week who were made over after both loosing 100 lbs. 10 yrs. ago. And it was exciting to see the results afterwards. But the woman did have excess skin around her middle that hadn't been taken care of but at least it was just skin and then it was gone.
I have seen the before and after pics of you and you are looking wonderful, so hang in there...The best is yet to come! And remember as well as Head Hunger there is still the issue of Head Image to deal with. So don't feel alone we are right here with you!
Topic: Ok, now down 50 lbs but still feeling the same.
I am 2 1/2 months post op, and feeling great, but I still feel huge. I still have a long way to go, but at least the first 50 is gone. I thought by now I would start to feel like I lost alot, not that I am still huge and have a long way to go. Maybe it is just a mind thing. Everyone notices how much I have lost, but I can't seem to notice. I am thinking because it is lost all over, but the proportions are the same. My belly is still huge, and still sags, and even though I have lost alot of inches, it still looks the same to me.
I read on here about people feeling great, and sexy, and flirty, and all that, but gees, I don't. Is that still to come? I still feel like I am waiting on my surgery to happen. Then I remember, Oh yeah, I already had it 2 1/2 months ago, and I have lost 50 lbs! LOL I know that you have to be feeling the same way! Right? Or at least have felt this way?
Topic: Post-op
I'm 4 days post-op. Not feeling great. I feel like there's an alien in my tummy and it's not happy. I'm really missing things like pizza and cake and ice-cream. I know it's head stuff, but it sucks all the same. I'm sure I'll feel better once I've healed some more and am able to get out and do stuff. Please keep me in your thoughts.
P.s. Thanks again to everyone who emailed me and kept me in their thoughts and prayers.

I hate my job and want a new one. I do accounts payable and my boss is the reason I want to leave. He is very controlling and makes really loud funny embarrassing noises. I have worked here for 4 years now and I want to do something else. Does anyone have any suggestions?
