Hi Sally, I have tricare and I was referred to Dr. Valentine. he and his office staff are AWESOME. tricare paid for everything except the nutritionist. i am glade you decided on the other one.. as i have heard so much a bout the ban and it not all good.. i my self had ds and i had mine oct 14.. i have lost over 72 lbs so far and have a way to go.. i would like to get to 160 lbs... Hi- I know of two doctors who specialize in lap-band surgery in the Boise area. Dr. Robert Cahn of Meridian- His office is near St Lukes Hospital off the freeway and Eagle Rd. Also a Dr. Anderson of Boise--Both practice out of St Als. They have a special dept advisor at St Al's She is a Bariactic Advisor. She is very nice and easy to talk to. I was going to have the Lap-band but decided on the RNY instead. I am scheduled for surgery the 1st-- I hope this will help--Judy Buse
