Where is everyone and how are you are doing?  Where are you at in your journey now?  I've been out-of-town for a week because my oldest uncle passed away but he's in a better place.  I'm almost 5 months out now and doing well.  Christeen has had her share of troubles but she's getting there.  She's 3 weeks out and down 9 pounds and the doctor put her on soft foods Monday.

Hi Scott! Can you tell me if there is a support group meeting in this area that is open to "outside" members?  I went Mexico for the VSG with Dr. Alvarez on Valentine's Day of last year.  I have lost 150 pounds, but I am beginning to have issues and there really is no support for me here.  Thanks, hope your evening goes well!

Yes, both doctor's support groups welcome anybody.  We're there for the support and fellowship so come on down.  They are held at St. Lukes on the third Monday and Tuesday of the month and Dr. Korn is also sponsoring one in Meridian on the second Tuesday of the month starting August 12th.  Hope to see you there.

I am happy to report that I have finally finished all the required steps and tests. I am waiting for my surgery date call back anytime now. I hope that you are all well,  happy and loosing weight. My time is coming soon! Heather

Good to hear.  Let Christeen and I know when and we'll come and see ya post-op.  We're both doing OK now and the pounds are still falling off.

I'm 8 weeks out from Lap Band surgery and am doing okay so far. Just started doing some ab exercises this week and found that I need to take those pretty slow for right now!

I'm glad you're doing good.  Slow is always better when you start a new life.  It took me about 3 months to get up to speed.
