Hi everyone, My name is Heather. I just started seeing a new doctor and I have medicaid. I am super anxious about the process. I am afraid that because I do not have years of medical documents and co. morbities that I will be denied. Is there anyone else out there with Medicaid that can answer a few questions? Thanks! Heather

Im in the same spot you are actually... So hopefully if I get some answers I will let you know or maybe you can help me. I really think from what I hear is you just pretty much need proof that you have been overweight for 5 years such as everytime you seen a doctor your weigh ins.... Thats what Dr. Oakley's office told me....

Basically, all you need is a letter from your doctor that states that he/she (Doctor) has been supervising your weight loss efforts for X years and the results.   Hope this helps.
