Consultation to surgery about 2 months. It was actually a fluke. Consults were scheduled for at least 8 weeks out and I got a call for a cancellation appointment 6 days after I called for my consult! So I think I got super lucky. But I'll take it!
I hope mine goes like that. My consult date was Jan. 14 - so if I get surgery by March 14 that would be sweet. My next appt with Dr. Korn is March 3rd - so I guess it depends on how busy he is after that. Do you have to go on a "diet" for the two weeks before surgery?
He didn't say anything about diet, but I do have to go in for a bit more preop stuff and if I hear about it I'll let you know. But so far he didn't say......
I'm so happy for everyone. Dr. Korn usually doesn't require a diet pre-op so you're ok there. Also as a post note, his office and him are moving closer to St. Lukes.
