First Seminar/Support Group Meeting

I went to my first GBS Seminar tonight.  Dr. Korn had an informational meeting tonight at St. Luke's and they had GBS Support Group after.  I really enjoyed speaking with Dr. Korn and he is taking patients with Medicaid.  He was very informative and very nice.  His nurses are great!  One ran the Support Group after the Seminar and she was very nice and they both answered all of my questions.  Now I have to come up with the Registration fee and the money to pay for the Nutritionist.  I am hoping to have that within a couple of months so I can get my surgery date taken care of and start my journey.

That is awesome!  I have heard very nice things about Dr. Korn.  I'm sure that things will go smoothly.  I'm just waiting for the approval now - it has been faxed 2x and BlueCross still says they haven't received it.  Arrrrghhhh! Best of luck to you! Michele

Make sure you keep on Blue Cross, they did the same thing to my sister in Texas and then they denied her request.  They even got an attorney and Blue Cross still fought it, so keep on them so they don't do the same thing to you!
