Medicaid Idaho and Gastric Bypass

Do you  know if Idaho Medicaid covers the Gastric Bypass?  Thank you!

YES!!! I had Laproscopic RNY in Idaho Falls and have Medicaid. There are lots of rules and hoops. Look up Dr. Podany in Idaho Falls. He's great.

I was told that you have to show a 5 year history of obesity.  I am currently contacting my doctor from 2000 to have my medical records mailed to me so that I can give those to my doctor.  I am hoping to be approved to have WLS soon.
