Thanks for all your input,, nothing seems to bother me, not yet anyway,,
I have had very little beef and so far as long as I chew it all really well, it is not causing me a problem,, finally got all of my protein in, I had to start making 2 protein shakes a day instead of one, and will continue to do that,,

Topic: Post Op Update
Hi Everyone!
Had my first post-op today and it went very, very well. I feel terrific today and have since I got up this morning. I can hardly believe that I had surgery five days ago because I sure don't feel like I did.
I have now officially lost 32 pounds since October 17 when this process started and that just amazes me. Down one size in clothing and if I lose another ten pounds I'll be out of the size I'm in now. Okay with me though.
The drinking is much easier with each passing day and my energy level today was unbelievable. As I've heard, it gets better and easier each day to do all the things you need to do to be successful on this journey! I believe it without a doubt!
For those of you who are waiting to get to this point, keep pushing forward because this is so worth the effort you will put into it.
I thank you all for being here and encouraging me onward. We all need each other and if I can give anyone a little bit of encouragement, I hope you'll let me.

Topic: RE: I'm home and on the loser's bench!
Congrats and welcome home! I know I felt a little better each day and then all of a sudden at about 10 days post op I had a major improvement in all areas and couldn't believe how good I felt. My lesson learned -- be careful not to over-do once you are feeling better. I was moving furniture in week 3, which I found to not be such a good idea. The nurse at the surgeon's office said you would be surprised how often that happens because people get feeling so good! Anyway, happy recovery and happy weight loss! Keep us posted on your progress! Deb

I'm sorry I can't -- not to that stage yet. But I wonder if your surgeon can recommend someone? Best of luck in your search! Deb

You'll be in Onederland very soon! And what a fun reward you have planned for yourself! I think it's important that we reward ourselves from time to time -- this is work! :-) Keep up the great progress!! Deb
