Topic: RE: Is Anyone Out There???
I'm here! I have my date scheduled - October 13. I'm very excited and ready to start this new journey! I've been keeping a journal of non-weight goals (things like wear a bra with 2 snaps!) to keep me motivated during the struggles.
Luckily I'm not that into thanksgiving, so I'll be OK with that holiday. We have a big Halloween costume party, so I'll need to make sure that I have a plan of attack for the party. I'm going to try to do the major cleaning / prep before I have surgery so i dont' have to worry about it after the fact.
Thanks for posting and getting a discussion going again on the board!

Topic: Is Anyone Out There???
This has been the quietest message board for over a week now and I'm wondering if anyone is still out there?
I am doing fine and just celebrated seven months post-op on Sept. 11th. Can't believe it's been that long! I feel absolutely fantastic and the eating is going quite well too. I have nibbled more than I should have on occasion but still trying very hard to avoid the junk foods and sweets. I did try a suger free mint pattie and while it was okay, I am just used to no sweets that it almost was too sweet for me. It did cure the garlic breath I had though!
How are the rest of you doing? Haven't heard or read any posts or updates and do hope you are all doing well. Is anyone out there having surgery anytime soon? How about those of you in the process of getting insurance approval.......how is that going for you?
I'm sure that with the upcoming holidays approaching we all will need some support so lets get this message board hopping again!!
I miss hearing from everyone...............
Take care and post please!

I should have been wearing Depends before reading Wanda's last post
I am planning to go on Saturday too. My hubby will be coming along with me. I don't know what I'll be wearing yet, but I will look for both of you and hope to meet you in person.
Take care!

I'll be looking for you! I haven't decided yet on my attire. Granny panties for sure. And I have gray hair too; you just can't see it.

That's funny! In my case... you can look for the fat woman with gray hair (and probably an Iowa t-shirt!)
