Velda, Im sorry you are having such troubles. What does your dr say about the nausea? Maybe he can order you something to help keep things down? Are you getting all your protein and water in? That is very important when it comes to weight loss, so that could be part of your not losing too. I am only 6 days post op and so far I seem to be doing just fine. Still on full liquids and I havent had any nausea yet. I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know how you are doing. Take care and God bless Cindy

Well the surgery went very well, the only bad thing to happen was that nausea has now become a friend that is not welcome. She has bought along some other not so pleasant people with her. Wish they would set up camp some place else! I am down 29 pounds but I have not lost another thing. I seem to be having troubles now with constipation and it might be the hang up with not loosing. With that and nausea vitamins, protein, food or anything makes me vomit. I am still not at the point that I do not regret this yet. I pray daily that this will pass and I can get to the point of being happy about this tool. So far it is a monkey in my side!!! Any advise please by all means help me out. Velda Some one has to have the secret!

Hijack! Hey, Dixie, how are you? If you're like me, you lurk here occassionally. How is school going for you? My future DIL's mom is in nursing school right now and she said last week as she tried to pin a corsage on me, that she could probably insert a catheter in me easier! I declined and had her just stick with the corsage. The kids are getting married next Saturday! I've been really busy with the wedding stuff and my trip to Mayo for the low blood sugar thing. They are 99% sure I have NIPHS - nonisulinoma pancreatogenous hypoglycemic syndrome. I've been on Precose but I'm not tolerating it very well anymore. So, I'm probably going to have to have 70% of my pancreas removed sometime this summer. I just want to be able to eat like a "normal" person again. I'm getting tired of eggs, cottage cheese, protein bars and shakes. Hope you are doing well! Hugs Lyn

Topic: Need Clothes Transport Texas to Iowa - Anytime - summer is fine
I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in Texas and have 3 boxes of clothes that I would love to send to my dear friend in Ft. Dodge who could really use them. She is a disabled lady and just happens to have been partnered with the first assistance dog puppy I raised. I am on social security retirement income so I don't have much money and shipping them would cost more than I can afford. Norma (the Doglady) in Garland, Texas (972) 840-2534
