Hi I'm now in Des Moines. And trying to work temporary, at EDS (in the mailroom--typing up orders for school fundraisers--Reader's Digest, Proactive, etc). I have an attorney helping me get SS, but doesn't look promising. My grandfather passed away a month and a half ago, and has given me the money to have my TT done, since I don't have insurance. So I'm excited, nervous, and scared. Thanks for your support, I left the board, because it was too quiet for me, but now since I've had some things come up, I think I will be back. Lisa Young

Hi Sorry I haven't written for awhile. Things are going so so. But good news is that I'm about ready to have my tummy tuck done and since Dr. Eibes is no longer doing them, he has been sending them to Dr. Franks, here in Des Moines. I'm wondering if anybody has had him, and what u thought of him. Just curious. I'm been very stressed out lately, and not eating like I should, (dropped appetite), had a phsically abusive boyfriend, who pushed me down the stairs, and had a bad easter with family. (My dad and I are not speaking right now,). It hurts me, but I get blamed for all of his computer problems, when the computer isn't working, and I'm not even at home on it. So who knows. Velda, I am sorry to here that you are having a hard time with nausea. I am still currently in the process of getting approval for the surgery but My causin in Minneapolis had the surgery about a year ago. She said that she was very sick the first month with nausea and stomach pain. she said that it went away almost immediately after she started walking. Now, with the exception of that rough first month, she is happier than ever and looks and feels great. I am not sure if you are experiencing the same thing she did but thought I might share her experience with you to help ensure that this will pass. I will keep you in my prayers.
