Like Janie & Melissa mentioned, I won't be able to go this time either. I have school that night & can't afford to miss. I wish I could make it though as it's very important. Fortunately, I haven't picked up a new addicton (unless you count studying) but I have to admit that I never gave up my original addiction- food. I fight it all the time and right now, it's winning. I was surprised by the fancy invitation also & suspect they did it for a few reasons. First, participation has gone down & usualy the same ones come each time. Perhaps by sending out invitations, those who have never gone or those who have dropped by the wayside will come. Also I understand that this subject is getting lots of notice. I believe that some national news program is doing a story on cross addiction. I think Barbara Thompson, author of a couple weightloss surgery books, was interviewed for it.  Congratulations on your new baby, Amy.  Dixie

I'm just fantastic - thanks for asking!  I posted a more indebt update about a week ago if you're really interested.  :lol:  Long story, short, I had a big oops and got pregnant before I was a year out.  Now he's 4 months old and we're both doing fabulous.  I'm below goal and am currently around 140 lbs.  Actually I just got back from swimsuit shop which ended up being fairly painless!  :lol: As far as the addictions go... holy crap.  I've watched several on my anniversary board go through them.  It's pretty scary.  I'm with Janie - if I had time, I might have found one by now!!!  Tanning though - the Mystic tan - might just be my new one though!

Hi guys..... haven't decided on going -- it's not quite as far for me and I see gas dropped a whopping 6 cents tonite.... Woo Hoo... Naturally, I filled up on my lunch hour today and it dropped after I got off work tonite..... I think cross addiction is probably pretty common.  I know there are a couple of things that I could easily pick up if I didn't have so darn much willpower!!!  NOT...  There are a million reasons for me not to smoke ... and I won't ... but the one best reason for me to do it is that I know I could lose a little more weight.  I guess I'm not willing to take the risks, but danged it would be easy..  Of course that's more $$$ too.... Man we just can win can we??? LOL It was great meeting you Melissa.  Dixie must be super busy as she hasn't answered my last e-mail -- hint, hint.   If anyone wants to get together and go to group and do supper first let me know -- I could probably be persuaded.....
