It would be of upmost importance for certain plastic surgeons to note pelvic imbalance or L5/S1 spondylolisthesis abberation when performing procedures abdominoplasty or circumferential belt lift. Receipient would need to be postured in a special way on operating table to avoid excessive removal of skin and compromise of sacral slope parameters.

Concern remains over lack of solutions to worsening on-call dilemma In what has been termed the ‘on-call dilemma,’ physicians are finding it more difficult — given a potential lack of reimbursements, increasing practice costs, increasing uncompensated care, worsening paperwork and the medical liability climate — to provide proper on-call hours. Some regions are more troubled than others, but it has become obvious that a problem still exists and must be corrected. more

Topic: New to CR-looking for a WLS-friendly primary care doctor
My first post :)
DH and I just moved to Cedar Rapids from California. (DH started a new job).  I am in the process of looking for a family doctor.  I have Wellmark BC/BS
It took me a while, but I am seriously considering getting WLS.  (Ok, I am past considering) :D
My GYN and a primary care doctor in California broached the subject with me.  I resisted, like the dickens, but with the PCOS and the weight not coming off any other way, I don't see any other way to turn

I have to get established with a primary care doctor and all that.  Any recomendations?  We live in NE Cedar Rapids bordering Hiawatha

Thanks in advance

Topic: medial thigh lift incorporation with belt lipectomy
When performing a circumferential belt lipectomy  would it be "too stupid  or reckless" to tightly pull the skin of the medial thigh and the skin under the lower buttock really tight and weave it   through, between  and upwards into the pelvic slope then over the groin crease and then over the front of the legs and  into general closing of the abdominal incision at the femur or hip and then cut off the excess as  extra dog ear skin?
