I'm not in Council Bluffs (Sioux City), but I've noticed that there aren't many west coasters on this board.  You might want to check with the Nebraska board and see if there aren't some Omaha people.   Congratulations on your first 150 and good luck with your last 50 pounds.   I'd be glad to be of online support, but Omaha might have some closer people. I was on a liquid diet before and it totally sucked.  The hunger pangs do seem to lessen once you get used to it.  (I know that's no comfort.. people told me that too and it wasn't nearly as comfortable as a cheeseburger looked! lol) I loved the sugar free popsicles.  They take awhile to eat and are satisfying.

I live in Iowa City and just had surgery with Dr. Glas**** in Cedar Falls.  He is fantastic.  More importantly, his support staff and Sartori are fantastic.  I only saw him twice... once at the seminar and once at my presurgery appt.  You will primarily deal with Angie and Mary in his office.. they are great.  Can't give them enough praise, especially poor Mary who I definitely harassed a lot! lol  I was so impressed with the entire experience! I know they do have cash prices.  There are also places in Mexico that a few of my internet buddies have used with great success.  And the price is a lot less... but it all depends if you want your doctor close or not.

I had rny surgery in 2005.  I have moved to council bluffs and would like to know if there is anyone here who has had  wls.  I need a buddy to talk too.  lost 150 pounds but have slow down in last 6 months.  want to loose 50 more.   help
