Where in Iowa are you considering?  In northwest Iowa you might check with the Mercy Bariatric Program at Mercy Hospital.  They have three surgeons who do lap bands, so they might know if any take other's patients.  This is in Sioux City, so if you are looking for the "east coast" of Iowa, it wouldn't be of much help.   If you want to contact me directly, I'll give you a contact person. Hi there, I am now 12 days out of surgery. I went to see Dr. Ver Steeg today and had the staples removed. I am down a total of 11 lbs since surgery.
