My story is much the same as IowaGirl. I was all set, and THREE days before the surgery, the insurance company called and said, "Oh sorry, we changed our minds". I was devestated!! That was in 2004. I now have BCBS, and am all set to go in just three weeks. My first appointment was December 17, & my surgery is Feb 21. Do what you have to. I hope things work out for you!!

Hi, Janine, Deanne did pass away in May of 2007. In March she found out she had colon cancer and I don't know much other than that. You can read more on it at the October 2006 surgery date forum. When you get there click search and type in Deanne and there's quite a few posts about her condtion, etc. Shannon

Another friend of mine just sent me a message asking about Deanne G and if I had heard from her. I actually hadn't heard from her since last spring and now on her profile I see where people were saying she will be missed. Does anyone know if she passed away??????????????? We were each other's support person for the surgery and we both kind of stopped talking to each other. Now I feel just awful. Thank you, Janine
