So happy for you!  Four days is going to go by quickly..........or maybe not.  If I was that close I'd probably think it was dragging but that's me, "Queen Impatient"    It is so exciting to be counting down the days until you have your surgery and I can't wait until I'm there myself.  Right now Feb. 10th looks pretty far away but I know it'll be here soon.

Keep posting and let us know how everything goes.  Your experience is helpful to me because I have to know every detail about what is going to happen.

Only four days to go!  I still can't believe this is actually going to happen!  I've lost 6 pounds on my pre-op diet.  I was hoping to lose more, but I've got four days left so who knows!  I'm just so excited.  And all the nervousness is gone, at least for now.  It'll probably come back with a vengance on Thursday morning, but that's to be expected.  I want to thank you all for the support you've given me.  This board has helped me get through this.  Thank you all!

Hey Kristi!  Welcome to the board.  Don't worry about being long winded.  We're all here to help and listen.  I like the Isopure protein drink because it's already made.  I don't like milk or milkshakes so I really couldn't go that route.  I would suggest trying GNC locally.  I go the one in Valley West Mall.  They have a deal by one get one half off going on right now.  I'm not sure if they have any other types of protein drinks but it never hurts to ask.

You could possibly have surgery in Feb.  I got my approval letter on December 31, had my final consult on Jan 6, and am having my surgery on Jan 22.  So anything is possible!

I think we've all had the yo-yo dieting.  But that's in the past now.  You're staring a new chapter of your life and we're all here to support you.  So if you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

Jenny

I knew if I posted, you would all help me out.    Thank you, thank you!

Jenn, it sounds like the pre-op is going to be very educational.  That is good.  Glad that Amy is going to give me the "diet Bible" then.  I need something I can reference as I am going through this.

Thanks for the vitamin information, girls!  I take a Flintstones twice a day as Debi's suggestion because she said my Viactiv multi vitamin and calcium with D are not okay.  I don't take B at all because I didn't think I needed it yet.  No CVS close by but Wal-mart is.  One of the girls from my area I know said she gets her Bs at a health food store in Dubuque.  Maybe that's another option but if Wal-mart carries what I need that's closer.

So much to learn, isn't it?  Thank God for all of you to turn to for support and help!

Congratulations on the weight and inch loss, Michelle!    That is awesome and I know you are happy about it too.  Keep up the great work.

Sorry to hear you have to take "monster pills"..........but better than getting gallstones, trust me!

K, I buy from various places depending on where I'm at.
I have found that I love the Centrum Chewables and I also take a chewable C-500 at the same time, taste like fruit in your mouth!
I have had good luck with the Citracel Petites, and for B, I found a sublingal liquid that has B and B-12, put one dropper full under the tounge for 30 seconds, swallow and you're done for the day!
If CVS has BOGO, I buy there, otherwise Wal-Mart.

Lucky! I wanted them to take my gallbladder, but I didn't have stones, so instead, I have to take these 3 monster size pills a day for 9 months to prevent stones! ON the other note, I had my 1 month visit today, down 30 lbs and 13 inches YIPPIE!!!
