Jesi - what's happening with your GB?

Hey Jesi, what's the status on your gallbladder? I've been gone so I may have missed anything that's been posted. How 'bout an update?

How was vacation? Hope you had a blast! My GB is poopy I guess not really functioning, by surgical standards it can come out.....but the Surgeon wanted me to get a second opinion from a WLS and make sure it wasn't anything bowel related first. He wouldn't know what to do if he opened me up and it was something going on with my bowels. He will remove my gall bladder once I get clearnance from a WLS. SO...............I contacted Genesis and they are willing to see me, I had my appt set up but had to cancel (don't remember why) but in the mean time I am trying to follow (doctor reccomendation) a diet for like IBS patients-irratible bowel- and it has gotten a lot better So I hate to self diagnose, but I am thinking the GB surgeon was right and it might be IBS. But my insurance is changing Jan 1st and it is going to be bad.....so I am gonna get into the WLS and make sure....if something does need to be done, it needs to be done before Jan 1st. I have FAR surpassed my deductible this year, so I am going to make sure I am good to go for the coming year Thanks for asking! Talk to you later~jesi
