Well I have so many questions about gastric bypass that I don't really know where to begin. I am going in tomorrow for my endoscopy (YEA!!!! Not.) and I am already trying again to lose weight. My surgeon who is doing the endoscopy seems to think the "madness" has gone on long enough and if I want to truly get rid of my GERD, have restful sleep, and begin to "live life" again that GB is my only choice. My wife seems jealous about it. She too is overweight and says she'd never have the surgery. I have my family doctor and now my surgeon telling me I need the surgery. How many of you went through the same thing with your friends and family saying "don't" and your doctors saying "do"? How did you deal with that or how are you dealing with that? Thanks!
