Happy Monday!

Hi All! We're back from our vacation and it was wonderful! It rained a little while we were in TX, but it was generally above 70 - and it was 90 when we left! It sucked a little to watch the temperature drop as we headed north... but all good things must end, right? The time change is killing us a little, but getting up for school this morning went better than I expected. Mondays are a long day for us though, so we'll see if we make it through. I'd love to get some yard work finished, but I'm not even going to attempt it with this wind! I need to get on the phone and call about getting myself a part time job - I think I have it, but I need to touch base with one of the owners. I love staying home with the kids, but a little extra money would rock! Oh and my big news! I'm about 9 lbs from goal (kinda, my goal is slightly lower, but we'll go with theirs!) and >this< close to a normal BMI. I can't wait to see reactions from extended family this weekend - and why will I see them you ask? Because my little baby boy is turning 2 this week!! He's definitely not my little (ok, we was NEVER little) baby anymore! Amy 265/159/150

I'm SO ready to get the house open and cleaned out - not to mention breaking out all of my new cute sandals!!!!!!!!

The time change is also kicking my butt....I woke up at 5:30 this morning only to feel like someone had kicked me in the head, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't wake up....then I realized DUHHHH it is like 4:30 to my body clock! My poor hubby fell asleep on the couch while trying to wake up and drink coffee. We had some kind of bug over the weekend tho, so that probably doesn't help. Today I picked up the house and got a couple grocerys and took it easy...thinking I will go to bed early tonight too. Again, glad you had a good time. Take Care jesi

He's not that big - actually I think he's perfectly average. Oh wait, because I had said he's never been small! OK, so he was 10 lbs 2 oz and 22" at birth! He was born as a 3 month old! He's about 26 lbs now though at 2 (ok, almost 2) and I forget how tall - but still under the 75th %tile. His oldest sister was always WAY off the charts for height - he's smaller than she was at the same age. Anyway, so the oldest (Kate) is quite tall, the middle one (Ani) is very petite and Will is completely average. 6 lbs and 6" is all that separates the younger two!

Thanks! It was easier to take coming home today. Once the wind died down, it turned into a nice day. Still didn't get yard work done, but I did walk to my daughter's school eventually.

Congratulations, Amy, I'm very proud of you, and I'm ashamed to admit, somewhat jealous. Nevertheless, I am very happy for you. And congratulations on your baby's birthday. Hmmm, now the terrible twos. Oh, Jesi, the time change messed me up too. I usually get up earlier so I can go to the pool on Monday morning. I knew it would be hard so I packed up my bag last night & set the alarm, which I promptly turned off when it went off. I awoke right about the time the class starts so missed it completely. My class tomorrow is in the afternoon so I'll have no excuse for missing it. Dixie

I totally understand and don't worry, I can be jealous of your perfect belly button! I don't have the sagging issue, but it's still definitely loose and not so attractive right now.
