Support group in Cedar Falls Monday

Just a reminder that there is a support group meeting on Monday night at Sartori. You don't have to be a patient of Dr. Glas**** to attend. The subject this month could be very interesting. I khope it will help me with accepting how I look now, as compared to how I wish I looked. The subject is "Through My Eyes" - Laura Rasmussen, LISW, will address self image both before and after weightloss. The informal part of the meeting is at 6:30 with the progarm starting at 7:00. Just go in the normal hopsital entrance & there are signs to guide you to the meeting. Dixie

Support group does run year around, right? I've always wanted to go, but Mondays just aren't do-able for me most of the year. I'm determined to get to meetings a couple of times this summer - it's something that I'm really looking forward to.

Yep, year around. It's almost always the first Monday, only changes if it's a holiday & then it's the next Monday. Next month Timi from the Wellness Center will be speaking. I can bet we'll be exercising. In June Dr G will be the speaker & Angie will be off on her maternity leave. That should be a good meeting as we'll be able to ask him all our questions. Hope you can make it. I know it's a long drive but usually worth it. Dixie
