Update on Andrea D

I got a call this morning from Andrea. She had her twins late last night at 34 weeks. The babies are BEAUTIFUL. First out was the little boy Jeshua at a whopping 5lbs 10oz......followed by his little sister Jada two minutes later, she was TINY at 3lbs 14oz. They are both just beautiful. Andrea is sore, as she had to have a c-section, both babies were heads up. She had her doctors appt yesterday afternoon, where her OB told her she would go to 36 weeks no problem, after getting home and resting, her water broke. Her baby boy is strong and doing GREAT...no oxygen no nothing.....Jada is smaller and required a little help breathing with a kpap...but she didn't have to be intubated so that was awesome. Man when I was in the NICU with her....she was just great....she was sucking on her pacifier like there was no tomorrow, and when I would take my hands off of her feet, she would kick and lift her whole body up....she will be fine, as she is STRONG. Just thought I would update....she will be in the hospital until Monday.....not sure when the babies will be home-Jeshua might only be in for a week.....Jada probably 2 So the thought of leaving her babies there is about killing her....so could use some prayers for her and the babies!!! I can't wait to go back and see them again. In case she doesn't get on the puter much, I will print out all the well wishes as I will probably go back next week! Thanks for letting us know. She has been on my mind alot lately. I wish her the best, and will be praying for those little ones to join her at home soon. Hope she gets all the rest she can in the meantime. Cindy G.
