Any Grinnell program people???

Okay, I know someone here had to have had surgery in Grinnell. My surgeon, Dr. Sundberg, is moving to that program. What do they have for support group? I can never go to Boone's cuz it's on Tuesday night and I have bell choir. Maybe Grinnell's will work for me.

Although I have not been there, the last information I had for the Grinnell Gastric Bypass Support Group shows that they meet once a month on Saturday mornings at 10:00 at the Galaxy Youth Center. Try calling 641-236-4323 which is Surgical Associates (Drs. Coster, Kermode and soon to be Sundberg) number. They can probably give you the contact information you need. Hope this helps.

I don't go there anymore, but they have changed the place, it's now at the hospital. I have switched to the Support group in Des Moines. Since I'm going with Dr. Eibes. And his is at Iowa Methodist. The meetings are the last Saturday of each month except for December. But you can also give the Dr's office a call,too. Good luck Lisa Young

Hi Lyn. I had my surgery in Grinnell. Though I have not been able to get to any of the support groups. Its a 4 hour drive from where I live and its just too far unless its for a drs appt. There is a link on that page on the right hand side. From what I have gathered when dr e left the nutritonist went with him and the meetings arent the same.
