hi all! Noah is almost 7 weeks old already! Can't believe it! He weighs over 11 pounds now, started at 6lbs 4 oz! the formula just wasn't satisfying him at all, started him on cereal about 2 weeks ago, and he is doing much better...sleeping about 4-5 hours with it, as compared to 1.5-2 without! he only has cereal 1X per day, and the dr has no quams about it. My older son, Nick started on cereal per drs orders when he was only 2 weeks old, so this is nothing new to me, but a lot of people freak out if you tell them a baby less than 4 months os having cereal. anyway, I have lost 38 pounds since delivery! WOW! I walk about 1, someitmes 2 miles a day, and just do not have an appetite at all. I also eat a lot of homemade chicken soup with a ton of veggies in it, this may be a big part in the loss. Also, I drink a LOT of coffee...and I know this is probably not the best for me, it is the only way I can get through the day! Noah is getting very good at tightening the string on the finger he has me wrapped around! I feel like a mother tiger...get any where near my son and watch out! This goes for both boys, but even more so with the little one...my 15 1/2 year old can pretty much fend for himself! Well, we are off...any of you ladies who like lattes...try a BREVE! OMG...it is SO wonderfull! YUM! Tracie

Its so great to hear from you. I'm glad to hear that Noah is giving you a little time to get some rest. My kids never slept through the night even when they were toddlers so I can relate to you not getting much rest. My youngest which is now 27 was hungry all the time, I breast fed and he would want to eat every 2 hrs, he never lost an ounce either. He is a very big guy stands 6'8 and about 300lbs. I wouldn't worry about feeding them cereal, it is good for them. If you feel guilty about drinking coffee get some cappacinio protein from Nectar and add it to your coffee. That way you will feel like you are getting a benifit other than staying awake. Just a thought. You really have to mix it though mine clumped today and that is nasty The soup sounds good want to make me some? You have so much time on your hands with a new one. Take care of your self and those precious boys, yes even the 15 1/2 yr old is precious also, he is just better at diguising it. Write when you have some time. We will enjoy helping you raise Noah.
