Well yesterday I had a voice message from Mercy Capital stating I needed to call to set up the RN interview. So today at 2 I have my psyciatrist appt and then at 3 I am going to call in for my RN interview. I'm kind of excited..but not getting my hopes up until I know my insurance is going to approve it. (I have a feeling they won't). I'll keep everyone posted... Janine

Janine, Do not lose faith. I think some insurance companies make you jump through hoops just to see if you are serious about this process. It can take quite a while to get all the requirements met to satisfy your insurance carrier. One thing I wish I had started on earlier was a 6 month medically supervised weight loss attempt with a visit to a registered dietician. That was a requirement of my insurance. I have heard others require just a 3 month attempt. Either way, that will burn up some time before you are actually in the operating room. Best of luck to you. And do not give up. Nicole T.
